Happy Spring from the BSHP!
With the beautiful weather this weekend (4/13), the Cross-Country course is jumpable until the next weather system moves in. Please be aware that the course has not yet been prepped for the season so be advised to always check for holes and safe takeoff and landing areas around every jump, and please avoid any areas that may be slick. The water at the park isn't on quite yet - but will be soon!
We have a few exciting projects happening this Spring, as some may have noticed the Main Events Arena has been getting some work done and will also be opening soon! We are also excited to be doing some work to the water complex on the XC course which will be closed for a period of time during construction and we will be updating everyone through the process!
Want to help get the park ready for the season? Our annual Spring Volunteer Day is this coming Saturday, April 20th! No experience required! Lots of projects for all ages and lunch is provided.

About the Facilities
The Big Sky Horse Park was founded in 1982 by the Missoula Horse Council and stewarded to this day by volunteers. A board of 13 members meets monthly to discuss the park's events, maintenance, and policies. If you would like to get involved, please contact the board at bshpdirector@gmail.com! The 90 acre Big Sky Horse Park (BSHP, formerly “Missoula Equestrian Park”) is bordered by a 1.7 mile perimeter trail, which acts as a boundary for the facility’s many features. These include:

BSHP Members enjoy the facilities for a small, annual fee. Non-members may pay a day fee for single day use. Please note that there is an additional fee for use of the cross-country course. All BSHP amenities are available for rent to both equestrian and non-equestrian groups alike.
